RAGI Use recommended high-yielding varieties/hybrids, seed treatment with thiram, Captan or Carbendazim @ 3g/kg of seed Nursery use 5.0 kg of seed in 400m2  areato plant one hectare. Weed management in nursery and also upto 3 weeks after planting. Fertilizer application @ 60 N, 30 P2O5  and 20 K2O kg/ha with N in two equal splits- one at planting and the other after 3 to 4 weeks after planting. Spraying of carbendazium 0.05%twice at 50% earhead emergence and also at completer earhead emergence against blast.
