ABSTRACT

Soils play an important role on crop production. Crop productivity mainly depends on soil, irrigation and fertilizer management. Among these, soil is basic resource and the medium for crop growth, is the basic issue for agricultural development in many of the agro matic zones/states. Every soil consists Physical and Chemical properties. This Physical and Chemical properties has main role in crop growth. Since there is a need of improve the productivity of crop with respect to increased population. So it is very essential to educate the farmers in relation to the crop production, which involves starting from selection of soils,Landpreparation,selection of varieties, selection of suitable method of irrigation, find out the critical stage of irrigation and finally chemical deficiency of the soil with respect to the crop.
